Forfluconazole,use an oral antifungal suspension
For the treatment of fluconazole-associated skin candidiasis, the usual dose is 200 mg once or twice daily. This is the single dose prescribed to treat candidiasis in adults.
Dosing information
Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, with or without food, usually once daily. The dosage may be adjusted based on your reaction and response to therapy. To treat skin candidiasis, the dosage of this drug is based on your age and the severity of your condition. To treat the first signs of candidiasis (fungal infection), the dosage of this drug is based on your overall clinical response, as well as your age and your local sensitivity to fungal infection. To treat the second infection (fungal infection after yeast infection), the dosage of this drug is based on your clinical response, as well as your age and your medical condition. Fluconazole may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole. Avoid consuming spicy, high-fat or high-cholesterol foods before or after taking fluconazole.It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications, including vitamins, non-prescription drugs, and herbal products that you are taking regularly.

Avoiding spicy, fatty or cholesterol-containing foods and eating foods that may worsen your symptoms of fluconazole may improve your effectiveness and may prevent the risk of side effects from some fluconazole products.

Direction to Use:
DIFLUCAN® ONE is administered orally. Use in AdultsFor vaginal candidiasis, fluconazole 150 mg (DIFLUCAN® ONE) should beadministered as a single oral dose. The median time to onset of symptom relief following a 150 mg single oral dose for thetreatment of vaginal candidiasis is one day. The range of time to onset of symptomrelief is one hour to nine days. Use in ChildrenSingle dose fluconazole is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of ageexcept under doctor supervision.
Side Effects
Common fluconazole side effects include nausea, headache, and stomach pain. Diarrhea is also possible. Mild side effects tend to resolve on their own or go away when you finish your treatment course. At what dose?Diflucan(fluconazole) is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections in the body caused by fungus. It is available in tablet form and is prescribed as a single dose.
Diflucan is used to treat certain types of vaginal candidiasis, yeast infections and certain types of infections caused byCandidaspecies other than Candida albicans.
Diflucan is also used for the treatment of high blood pressure and to prevent infections caused by blood-thinning medications, including nitrates. It may also be used to prevent fungal infections and to treat a variety of other conditions such as certain types of blood disorders, and some other conditions.
Diflucan can be taken with or without food. However, a dose of 2.5 mg twice a day should be taken as needed at the same time every day. Do not exceed the recommended dose of 2.5 mg in 24 hours unless directed by your doctor.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking any medicine for the infection. It is not known whether fluconazole passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby.
